Hi and salam, my name is Anam Zahid and this blog is all about my research interests and activities during my MS and teaching experience. But first of all let me formally introduce myself !!!!

About: Myself

I’ve completed my bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) in year 2011. As my final year project I have developed an online meta search engine using Javascript, PHP and mySQL. The users of this application can search their queries using three popular search engines i-e Yahoo, Google and Bing. They had also given the facility to create account, save and download their search history. After my BS, i have worked as a Dot Net developer in Webnomics Technologies, Faisalabad in year 2012 (January – June). My main focus was on development of web applications using languages such as C#, Asp.Net, MVC, JavaScript and JQuery etc. I completed my Master’s degree in Information Technology (MS-IT) from NUST-SEECS with specialization in Object Oriented Technologies. I have done my thesis under the supervision of Dr. Awais Shibli at KTH-AIS Lab. My thesis title was “Secure Sharding and Key management in cloud based NoSQL database” which provides NoSQL database security in cloud, secure sharding and management of encryption keys. Since April 2015, I am serving as a lecturer at National Textile University (NTU).  By far, I have taught many courses including

  • Mobile Application Development
  • Data Structures
  • Discrete Mathematics
  • Web Application Development and others.
